Last night, 5/14/12, I watched a KLRU special on Johnny Carson. What an amazing show. I was fortunate to be able to enjoy his whole career. I hope that you were able to as well.

I stopped doing Central Market demos in the middle of December. I just didn’t think that anyone was really in the mood to hear me shovel my bull with the holidays just around the corner. To everyone that bought Full Of Bull BBQ Sauce in 2011, you have my undying gratitude. It is a labor of love for me and I hope that that shows through with my attitude at my demos. I look forward to seeing each and everyone of you in 2012.

Coming soon—With a little luck, Full Of Bull BBQ Sauce will soon be available at the General Store at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort. Feel free to suggest FOB to your favorite non-Central Market grocery store. New outlets will be posted here. Thank you all for your support.

Full Of Bull BBQ Sauce has its own Facebook page. Feel free to like. That is also a location where I post upcoming demos.

Thank you to Addie D’Agostino for deciding to carry Full Of Bull BBQ Sauce in her new store—Relish in Houston. It is located at 3951 San Felipe in Houston. The website is www.relishhouston.com.

A special thank you to Bob Carroll, the owner of BBQ Outfitters in Austin. For the second year in a row he has chosen to carry Full Of Bull BBQ Sauce. Also, thank you to Stor Self-storage for allowing me to display FOB on their counter. Believe it or not, it actually sells without Steve doing a demo. Progress my friends, progress.

In addition to Central Markets in Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Plano, Dallas and Ft.Worth, Full Of Bull BBQ Sauce is available at BBQ Outfitters on Highway 620 in Austin, Fresh by Brookshires in Tyler and Relish in Houston.

                                                  *****Random Thoughts*****

1. If you tell the truth, you don’t have to remember anything.
2. Some days you are the dog, some days you are the tree.
3. A closed mouth gathers no feet.
4. Generally speaking, you aren’t learning much when your lips are moving.
5. Experience is something you don’t get until just after you need it.

Has writing “thank you” notes gone out of style? I don’t think so. It is the one way that you can distinguish yourself from the masses who think that a “thank you” e-mail is adequate. And then there are those that don’t do either. Surely your parents taught you better.

A friend of mine says this about life and circumstances—”it’s a long worm that never turns.”

Thought for a lifetime: Always be willing to sign your work.

FYI: “Pretty good” or “pretty nice” or “pretty smart” isn’t a compliment. If you are going to qualify your compliment, just don’t say anything at all.

To quote Ron White of Blue Collar Comedy fame, “you can’t fix stupid.” You really can’t.

If you are on the freeway driving in the left hand lane and only driving the speed limit, move over to another lane. You are far more dangerous than the person that is driving, in your words, “too fast.”

The only difference between a rut and a grave is their dimensions—Ellen Glasgow
